Here either swim with wild Dolphins or just relax sailing through Bay of Islands and then hold your breath while you cruise through the famous Hole in the Rock. Then comes a visit to the historic town Russell. It's a small, historic seaside village on a peninsula in the eastern Bay of Islands. Since the 1700s it has provided a haven for visitors, offering shelter and hospitality. Because of its relatively remote location it retains an island quality and a charm that reflects the tranquillity of earlier times. And with this we sign off for the day to our luxury accommodation. Day 2 - BAY OF ISLANDS-CAPE RIENGA Head up north to the tip of New Zealand. Experience the famous 90 Mile Beach while driving on the stunning stretch of sandy shoreline. Have a gala time surfing on sand dunes. Once at Cape Rienga feel the fresh sea breeze and stroll at the bright light which shimmers off the ocean crests. Seabirds wheeling and screaming over the agitated sea catch the eye and you suddenly realize you are witnessing the immense power of two mighty oceans merging together. Drive back to Paihia city and have a sound sleep to revive for the next day. Day 3 - PAIHIA -AUCKLAND Early start from Bay of Islands to explore the City of Sails. Your tour begins at the upper entrance of the cave and proceeds along a low narrow passage to the Tomo, a deep limestone shaft. Your experienced tour guide will deliver a highly informative commentary about the formations and the history of the area.
